Description

The Blicube C792 is an advanced video conversion module engineered to bridge the gap between high-resolution HDMI sources and the CSI-2 input found on Raspberry Pi development boards. This module efficiently processes HDMI input signals up to 4K@60Hz, automatically scaling them down to 1080p@60Hz for the CSI-2 interface. A key feature is its HDMI loop-out, which allows the original HDMI signal to be mirrored to an external display, preserving the display output while simultaneously providing a feed to the Pi.

Designed for versatility, the C792 supports both 15-pin (2-lane) and 22-pin (4-lane) CSI connectors, ensuring broad compatibility across various Raspberry Pi models, from the Pi Zero to the latest CM5. Beyond Raspberry Pi, it integrates seamlessly with diverse HDMI sources such as PCs, DSLRs, GoPros, and industrial video equipment. Furthermore, the module includes I2S audio output, enabling the capture and processing of synchronized audio alongside video streams.
