Developed by Shenzhen Big Tree Technology Co., Ltd., this board streamlines the integration of advanced extruder functionalities into your 3D printer setup. Its primary advantage lies in supporting communication via either USB or the robust CAN Bus protocol, which drastically simplifies tool head wiring by consolidating multiple connections into a single, reliable cable, thereby reducing both clutter and potential points of failure.

This efficient tool head PCB comes equipped with an integrated TMC2209 extruder motor driver, ensuring precise and quiet motor control for optimal filament extrusion. By offloading the extruder driver and other tool head electronics directly to the hotend assembly, the EBB42 CAN V1.2 significantly decreases the number of wires running back to the mainboard, contributing to a lighter tool head and potentially improved print kinematics.
