The Benewake TFS20-L is a miniaturized, single-point LiDAR sensor utilizing direct time-of-flight (dToF) technology for high-precision distance measurement. A pulsed 905nm VCSEL laser signal is emitted and reflected off a target, with the return pulse captured by a high-sensitivity Single-Photon Avalanche Diode (SPAD) detector. The module calculates distance based on the precise time difference between transmission and reception.
Engineered for stability, the sensor features built-in temperature compensation and maintains reliable performance across an operating temperature range of -20°C to +60°C. Its robust design ensures consistent operation in various ambient light conditions, making it suitable for integration into space-constrained and mobile systems requiring long-range, low-power sensing.
