For best results, print between 200-240°C. Start with 220°C and adjust based on your printer and desired finish. A heated bed temperature of 35-65°C helps ensure good first-layer adhesion and prevents warping, especially on larger prints.

To maximize translucency, use thinner wall thicknesses and lower infill percentages. Printing with a larger nozzle (e.g., 0.6mm) and slightly higher temperatures can also reduce layer lines, enhancing the smooth, frosted-glass appearance. Experiment with settings to find the optimal balance.

While PLA is less hygroscopic than other materials, proper drying significantly improves print quality. Dry at 50-55°C for 4-6 hours before printing, especially if the spool has been exposed to humidity. This prevents stringing and improves layer adhesion for a smoother finish.

For a smoother finish, light sanding and a clear coat can further enhance the frosted glass effect. However, the filament is designed to look excellent off the print bed. Avoid chemical post-processing as it can affect the translucent properties.

The reusable spool reduces plastic waste and contributes to a more sustainable 3D printing workflow. Once the filament is used, you can easily load a refill coil, minimizing your environmental footprint while maintaining the convenience of a sturdy spool.
