Bambu Lab PLA Translucent Ice Blue 1.75mm Filament

This PLA is formulated with specific additives and pigments that allow light to pass through while still providing color. Printing with thinner walls or specific infill patterns can enhance the translucency, making it ideal for items like lampshades or backlit displays where soft light diffusion is desired without full transparency.

For optimal results, a nozzle temperature between 200-240°C and a heatbed temperature of 35-65°C are recommended. A smooth or textured PEI plate with liquid glue enhances adhesion. Printing speeds up to 150mm/s can be achieved, ensuring a balance between speed and excellent surface finish.

While PLA is less hygroscopic than other materials, proper drying (e.g., at 55°C for 6-8 hours) can prevent issues like stringing or poor layer adhesion, especially in humid environments. Store the filament in a sealed bag with desiccant after use, ideally within its reusable spool, to maintain optimal performance.

Translucent Ice Blue PLA is exceptionally suited for projects requiring a unique aesthetic and light interaction.
