Bambu Lab PETG-CF filament in Indigo Blue offers significant advantages for demanding 3D printing applications. The carbon fiber reinforcement drastically improves the material’s stiffness, strength, and overall toughness, making it perfectly suited for manufacturing functional, load-bearing components that require durability. Its unique glossier carbon fiber finish adeptly conceals layer lines, contributing to a more attractive and professional final appearance for printed parts.

This advanced filament is engineered for print reliability, featuring reduced tendencies for stringing and clumping, which translates to smoother and more consistent prints with minimal post-processing. Beyond its mechanical and aesthetic benefits, PETG-CF boasts excellent heat and moisture resistance, positioning it as an ideal choice for parts destined for outdoor environments or applications requiring robust environmental stability. Proper preparation, including drying the filament at 65 °C for 8 hours in an oven or AMS, or 75–85 °C for 12 hours on a heatbed, is crucial for optimal results.

For the best printing experience, a hardened steel nozzle, preferably 0.6 mm, is recommended due to the abrasive nature of carbon fiber. To enhance Z-strength, consider increasing infill density and avoiding open printers or excessive cooling, which can negatively impact layer adhesion. For a shinier surface finish, experiment with slightly lower print speeds and a marginally higher nozzle temperature.
