Description

eSUN PLA Luminous is an innovative, eco-friendly filament based on modified polylactic acid, engineered to absorb light and emit a captivating glow in dark conditions. This unique luminous effect makes it an ideal material for crafting special prints such as intricate decorative objects, engaging toys, or eye-catching novelty items that stand out. Beyond its visual appeal, PLA Luminous maintains the user-friendly printing characteristics expected from standard PLA, ensuring accessibility for a wide range of users.

However, due to the inclusion of luminous particles within its composition, eSUN PLA Luminous can cause increased wear on standard extruder components and nozzles over time. For optimal performance and longevity, it is strongly recommended to use a dual-gear extruder paired with a hardened steel or ruby nozzle. Printing parameters generally fall within an extruder temperature range of 210-230℃ and a bed temperature of 45-60℃, with a fan speed of 100% and print speeds of 40-100mm/s, ensuring excellent material flow and layer adhesion for durable parts.

The intensity and duration of the luminous effect are directly dependent on the light source’s intensity and exposure time. Longer exposure to light results in a brighter and more prolonged glow, allowing for dynamic visual effects in your printed models. With proper printing setup and consideration for material properties, eSUN PLA Luminous empowers makers to create visually stunning and unique 3D prints with ease.
