The eSUN PETG+ Orange 1.75mm 3D Printing Filament provides a robust material solution, merging the beneficial characteristics of both ABS and PLA. This advanced PET-G formulation ensures high toughness, enhanced heat resistance, and reliable layer adhesion, resulting in parts that are strong yet possess a degree of flexibility, making them less prone to brittle failure compared to standard PLA.
Printing with eSUN PETG+ is notably straightforward, comparable to PLA, though careful first-layer adhesion is crucial to prevent blobbing around the nozzle. While it can print with or without a heated bed due to low warping, a bed temperature of 65°C is recommended to facilitate automatic part release upon cooling. The material’s good hydrophobicity and UV absorber content contribute to its stability during storage and use, producing prints with a desirable glossy finish.
