While a heated bed (35-45°C) is recommended for optimal bed adhesion and to prevent warping, an enclosure is generally not strictly necessary for Bambu Lab PLA Matte. It's a forgiving material. However, for very large prints or in drafty environments, an enclosure can further improve print quality and consistency.

Like all PLA filaments, Bambu Lab PLA Matte is hygroscopic and can absorb moisture from the air. Store the refill spool in a sealed, airtight bag or container with desiccant. This prevents moisture absorption, which can lead to printing issues like bubbling, stringing, and reduced mechanical properties. Dry at 55°C for 6-8 hours if moisture is suspected.
