The KSD302 thermal switch utilizes a bimetallic disc mechanism housed within a durable ceramic body. When the ambient temperature reaches its calibrated setpoint of 120°C, the disc snaps, mechanically opening the electrical contacts to interrupt the circuit. This provides a failsafe, non-resettable cutoff to prevent overheating damage.
