The KSD302 is a bimetallic disc thermostat where a temperature-sensitive metal disc snaps from a closed to an open position upon reaching its calibrated setpoint of 130°C. This normally closed configuration is ideal for safety cut-off applications, interrupting power to a circuit when an over-temperature condition is detected to prevent damage or fire hazard.
