The Panasonic EX-13EB photoelectric sensor employs a through-beam (opposed) sensing principle, where a separate emitter and receiver are used. The built-in red LED transmitter projects a beam to the receiver; an object is detected when it interrupts this beam. This method provides high reliability and immunity to target surface color or reflectivity.
Engineered for industrial durability, the sensor features an IP67 protection rating, making it resistant to dust ingress and capable of withstanding temporary immersion in water.
