The PTFA0100 utilizes a hermetically sealed reed switch actuated by a magnet within the float. When the liquid level rises, the float aligns the magnet with the reed switch, closing the SPST-NO (Single-Pole, Single-Throw, Normally Open) contact. This provides a simple, reliable on/off signal for level detection without complex electronics.
