MemsFrontier MPM11-BD Laser PM Sensor Module - Front Air Inlet/Outlet, 10-Pin, UART/I2C/PWM
The MemsFrontier MPM11-BD is a compact laser-based particulate matter sensor module with front-facing air inlets/outlets, providing simultaneous PM1.0, PM2.5, and PM10 concentration data via UART, I2C, or PWM interfaces for integration with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32, and industrial air quality monitoring systems.
Features
- Laser scattering principle detects PM1.0, PM2.5, and PM10 concentrations from 0 to 1000 µg/m³.
- Multi-interface output: selectable UART (serial), I2C, or PWM for flexible system integration.
- Front-mounted air inlet/outlet design optimizes airflow for accurate sampling in confined spaces.
- High resolution of 1 µg/m³ and fast power-on settling time of less than 10 seconds.
- Compact 10-pin module operates from a single 5V DC supply with low power consumption.

The MPM11-BD employs a laser scattering detection method to measure particulate matter concentrations with a diameter range of 0.3 to 10 micrometers. Its integrated fan and front-facing airflow path ensure consistent sample delivery to the optical chamber, enhancing measurement stability across varying environmental conditions. The sensor provides real-time data output with high consistency, featuring deviations within ±10% or ±10 µg/m³ across its measurement range.
Designed for continuous operation in demanding environments, the module functions within an operating temperature range of -10°C to +60°C and humidity up to 99% RH (non-condensing). Its robust construction and selectable communication protocols (UART, I2C, PWM) make it suitable for embedded environmental monitoring nodes, HVAC control systems, and portable air quality analyzers requiring precise, real-time aerosol density data.
