The XKC-KD200-V sensor employs an infrared (IR) LED and phototransistor pair to detect the presence or absence of a target object or liquid level. The IR light is transmitted, and the reflected signal is analyzed; a significant change in reflection indicates detection. This non-contact method prevents contamination and is ideal for applications requiring a sealed environment.
The module includes onboard signal conditioning that converts the optical reading into a stable digital output signal.
