Micro Minim OSD For Racing F3 Naze32 Flight Controller RC Drone
The Micro Minim OSD is a compact on-screen display module designed for FPV racing and multirotor platforms, integrating an ATmega328P microcontroller and MAX7456 chip for real-time telemetry overlay. It is compatible with MAVLink for ArduPilot and MultiWii Serial for Baseflight/Cleanflight, supporting dual battery voltage monitoring up to 4S.
Features
- ATmega328P microcontroller with Arduino bootloader for flexible firmware programming.
- MAX7456 monochrome OSD chip for crisp, real-time telemetry overlay on video feed.
- Dual independent power sections with LED indicators, supporting up to 12V input.
- Direct connection pads for dual 4S battery voltage, RSSI (analog/PWM), and current sensor.
- Compact footprint (16mm x 15.6mm) and lightweight (4g) for space-constrained racing builds.

The Micro Minim OSD represents a refined, miniaturized evolution of the classic MinimOSD, engineered to deliver robust telemetry overlay functionality without onboard DC/DC conversion to reduce thermal load. Its core architecture centers on an ATmega328P processor paired with a MAX7456 video overlay IC, providing a stable platform for custom firmware such as MAVLink for ArduCopter or MultiWii Serial for legacy flight controllers.
Electrical design incorporates two isolated power rails with solder jumpers for configuration, accepting input voltages from 5V to 12V via a 500mA regulator. The board exposes critical test points and connection pads for dual battery voltage monitoring (up to 4S each), analog or digital PWM RSSI input, and external current sensor integration, making it a versatile telemetry hub for FPV and autonomous UAV systems.
