Its compatibility with a range of Holybro Flight Controllers, such as the Pixhawk 6C or Pixhawk 4, allows for advanced navigation and mission planning, making it a versatile platform for numerous aerial tasks.
Constructed from a blend of high-strength materials, the S500 V2 frame is engineered for durability and lightweight performance. The arms utilize a Polyamide-Nylon composite reinforced with carbon fiber, while the landing gear features thickened 16mm and 10mm carbon fiber tubes for enhanced stability. Assembly is straightforward and solder-free, thanks to pre-threaded sleeves and the use of a single bolt size for the entire build. The integrated power distribution board (PDB) on the bottom plate further simplifies wiring, providing a clean and efficient power delivery system capable of handling continuous 60A and burst 100A currents. An adjustable battery mount allows pilots to achieve optimal weight distribution, crucial for stable flight characteristics.
