This universal folding GPS stand and holder is designed to securely mount your GPS device, ensuring optimal performance for your flight operations. GPS modules achieve their highest accuracy when their antennas have an unobstructed view of the sky, and they are particularly susceptible to electromagnetic interference (EMI) originating from motors, ESCs, and other radio transmission equipment within the drone.
To counteract these factors and deliver the best possible performance, this extended mount positions your GPS/Compass module far from interference sources and well above the multirotor’s frame. Measuring 14cm in rod length, it provides sufficient elevation for most installations. A key advantage is its quick folding mechanism, allowing for easy transportation and storage without requiring any tools. The mount can be affixed to your drone using the M3 base plate hole or via its cross slides, providing flexible installation options.
