iFlight XT30/XT60 Smart Smoke Stopper 2-6S LiPo

The iFlight Smart Smoke Stopper's primary purpose is to prevent catastrophic damage to your FPV drone's electronics from short circuits during initial power-up or troubleshooting. It limits current, stopping "magic smoke" before it occurs, protecting expensive components like ESCs and flight controllers from immediate burnout, allowing you to safely diagnose issues.

This smoke stopper supports an input voltage range of 7-25V DC, making it compatible with 2S to 6S LiPo batteries, common in FPV drones. It is equipped with both XT30 and XT60 input and output connectors, ensuring broad compatibility with most mini-quad and freestyle drone power systems.

The iFlight Smoke Stopper provides clear indicators for operational status. During normal, safe operation, the integrated LED will display a solid green light. If an abnormal current draw or short circuit is detected, the LED indicator will turn off, and the device will emit a distinct beeping sound, alerting you to the fault.

While highly effective for preventing damage from short circuits or excessive current draw during initial power-ups, a smoke stopper does not protect against all wiring errors. For instance, reversed polarity wiring, if undetected by the stopper, can still cause damage. Always use a multimeter to verify wiring correctness before applying power.
