Description
The Teltonika RUTM55 5G Industrial Router is engineered as a core networking node for industrial IoT and automation systems. Its MediaTek dual-core 880 MHz MIPS processor and 256 MB RAM run the RutOS operating system (OpenWrt-based Linux), providing a stable platform for routing, VPN tunneling, and custom application deployment. The router consolidates cellular, wired, and wireless connectivity into a single hardened device, eliminating the need for separate modems and serial servers.
Power and I/O are designed for industrial control environments. The wide 9–50 VDC input with 3-pin terminal and passive PoE capability accommodates unstable power sources typical in field installations. A full set of digital, analog, and relay outputs (including a galvanically isolated input and a 24V/10A relay) allows for direct monitoring and actuation of connected equipment. This integration simplifies cabinet wiring and reduces total system cost and complexity.
