Description

The BigTreeTech BigTreeTech ESP-07S Module is a purpose-built wireless communication solution engineered for the 3D printing ecosystem. It leverages a robust ESP8266-based core, offering dual clock speeds of 80 MHz and 160 MHz, to handle network tasks and peripheral communication efficiently. The module connects directly to the designated headers on compatible BigTreeTech mainboards, eliminating the need for complex wiring.

Its primary function is to bridge the 3D printer’s control board to a local network, allowing for remote monitoring, file transfer, and real-time control via a web browser. The module supports standard UART communication at configurable baud rates from 300 to 4,608,000 bps, defaulting to 115200 bps for reliable data exchange with the host microcontroller. With a compact form factor and a 3.0V to 3.6V power supply requirement drawing over 500mA, it’s designed for embedded operation within printer enclosures.
