First, unscrew the default CS-mount adapter from your Raspberry Pi HQ Camera module. Then, screw the provided M12-to-CS adapter onto the camera's threads. Finally, attach the LN058 M12 lens by threading it onto the adapter. Ensure it is hand-tightened securely but do not over-torque. Power on your Pi and adjust focus by gently rotating the lens barrel if needed for the sharpest image.

When mounted on a Raspberry Pi V1 or V2 camera module using the appropriate CS-mount adapter, the Arducam LN058 lens provides a narrower horizontal field of view of approximately 17.5 degrees. This is due to the smaller sensor size compared to the High Quality Camera. It still functions as a telephoto lens on these models, suitable for focused, long-distance imaging projects where a wide angle is not required.

The 12.5mm focal length and F2.35 aperture make the LN058 ideal for applications requiring detail at a distance with good low-light performance.
