The Sipeed LicheeRV Nano (E) is a highly versatile and compact RISC-V Linux development board designed for embedded systems and AI applications. Despite its diminutive SD card-sized footprint of 22x36mm, this board leverages the powerful SOPHGO SG2002 System-on-Chip, featuring a 1GHz RISC-V C906 processor and a dedicated AI NPU. This combination provides a robust platform for developing and deploying efficient edge AI inference models and general-purpose Linux applications.
Equipped with 256MB of DDR3 RAM, the LicheeRV Nano (E) supports a range of operating systems including Buildroot Linux, Debian, and Fedora. Its extensive peripheral set includes a 4-lane MIPI CSI input for camera modules, a 2-lane MIPI DSI output for displays, and integrated audio capabilities with a MEMS mic and speaker amplifier. Connectivity is a strong suit, offering dual-band 2.4G/5.8G WiFi6, Bluetooth Low Energy 5.4, and a 100Mbps Ethernet port, alongside a USB2.0 OTG Type-C interface. The board’s breadboard-compatible 2×14-pin headers ensure easy integration into custom projects, making it a pivotal tool for popularizing the RISC-V ecosystem in a variety of embedded and AI-driven applications.
