Description
The Geekworm KVM-A3 Kit leverages the capabilities of the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B to deliver a comprehensive KVM-over-IP experience. This solution allows you to control a remote server or computer directly through a web browser, simulating a keyboard, mouse, and monitor. Crucially, it provides true hardware-level access, operating independently of any remote ports, protocols, or software services running on the target system. This ensures robust control even during critical system states, such as boot-up or OS failures.
Designed for easy integration and robust performance, the KVM-A3 kit features an HDMI Full HD video capture mechanism powered by the TC358743 chip, ensuring clear remote visuals. Peripheral emulation is handled via the Raspberry Pi’s OTG port, allowing for seamless remote keyboard and mouse interaction, along with mass storage drive emulation for file transfers or OS installations. Additional features like a hardware Real-Time Clock (RTC), a dedicated cooling fan for the Raspberry Pi, and solid-state relays for GPIO protection against electrical spikes enhance its reliability and utility in professional and DIY environments. Note that the Raspberry Pi board itself is not included with the kit.
