SUNLU Silk PLA+ filament is a modified polylactic acid designed to produce stunning 3D prints with a distinct, glossy silk-like appearance. This material retains the ease of use typical of standard PLA, making it highly accessible for a wide range of FDM 3D printers, while offering enhanced aesthetic qualities. Its formulation ensures excellent melt flow characteristics, contributing to clog-free extrusion and superior interlayer bonding, which is crucial for structural integrity and a smooth surface finish.
Engineered for reliability, SUNLU Silk PLA+ maintains consistent dimensional accuracy throughout the spool, minimizing printing inconsistencies. The filament’s low shrinkage properties significantly reduce the risk of warping, ensuring stable and precise prints, even for larger objects. Optimal printing parameters, including a nozzle temperature range of 205-235℃ and a bed temperature of 50-60°C, facilitate strong bed adhesion and excellent print quality.
