Description

The RepRap MK2B Dual Power PCB Heat Bed is engineered to provide a reliable and consistent heated build surface for a wide range of 3D printers. It features an innovative central mounting hole on the front side, enabling a three-point mounting system. This design significantly simplifies the bed leveling process compared to traditional four-point setups, allowing users to achieve a perfectly level print surface with greater ease and precision. For optimal flatness and rigidity, the integration of a glass plate is highly recommended.

This heat bed is designed for enhanced user experience and durability. The solder pads have been substantially increased in size, making component soldering more straightforward and robust, even allowing for the use of 1206 surface mount components. It’s crucial, however, to ensure proper strain relief is applied to all connections to maintain long-term reliability.

Offering dual power input support, the MK2B heat bed can operate efficiently with either 12V or 24V power supplies. Regardless of the voltage used, the system is designed to provide a stable 144W power output, ensuring rapid and uniform heating across the entire 200x200mm active area for superior print adhesion and reduced warping across various filament types.
