NU40A14R-1 14mm Waterproof Ultrasonic Receiver Probe

The NU40A14R-1 is specifically an ultrasonic receiver probe. It is designed to receive high-frequency sound waves (typically 40kHz) emitted by a separate ultrasonic transmitter. It is used in paired systems for precise time-of-flight calculation to determine distance, level, or presence in industrial and automation applications.

The 'waterproof' designation indicates the probe's aluminum alloy housing is sealed to prevent moisture ingress, typically corresponding to an IP67 or IP68 rating. This allows it to operate reliably in damp, dusty, or outdoor environments, including light rain, high humidity, and wash-down conditions common in industrial automation.
