This CG-Stainless Steel sensor is a precision Resistance Temperature Detector (RTD) engineered for direct surface temperature monitoring. It utilizes a platinum PT100 sensing element, which exhibits a highly stable and linear resistance change with temperature, following the IEC 60751 standard (alpha=0.00385). The 3-wire configuration is critical for accurate remote sensing, as it allows the measurement circuit to compensate for the resistance of the connecting leads, ensuring the reading reflects only the temperature at the probe tip.
The pasted-type, flat-profile design maximizes surface contact area for rapid thermal response and minimal thermal lag. The stainless steel housing provides mechanical robustness and resistance to corrosion from acids, alkalis, and moisture, as indicated by its waterproof rating. This combination of precision, durability, and environmental protection makes it a reliable component for critical temperature feedback in controlled processes.
