HS-S37P Water Depth Sensor - Analog Output, 3-Pin Interface, Stainless Steel
The HS-S37P is an analog water depth sensor designed for real-time liquid level monitoring. It provides a voltage output proportional to submersion depth and is compatible with 3.3V/5V systems like Arduino, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi for easy integration into DIY, educational, or industrial monitoring projects.
Features
- Analog voltage output directly proportional to water depth for precise measurement.
- Wide 3.3V to 5V DC operating range compatible with Arduino, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi.
- Simple 3-pin interface (VCC, GND, Signal) for straightforward wiring and integration.
- Stainless steel construction and exposed copper traces for durable, corrosion-resistant operation.
- Fast response time (≤500ms) and low power consumption (≤50mA) for efficient monitoring.

The HS-S37P water depth sensor operates on a resistive sensing principle. Multiple exposed parallel copper traces act as conductive paths; as water submerges more traces, the electrical resistance between them decreases. This change in resistance is converted into a corresponding analog voltage signal, which is output via the signal pin. The sensor’s output can be read by any microcontroller with an ADC (Analog-to-Digital Converter) to calculate the precise water level.
Built with a stainless steel housing and PCB, the sensor is designed for reliable performance in wet environments. Its compact form factor (65mm x 18mm) and dual mounting screw holes allow for secure installation in tanks, reservoirs, or leak detection systems. The sensor is ideal for projects requiring real-time water level data without complex calibration.
