This combo is specifically engineered for heavy-lift and industrial multirotor drones. While the motor can technically spin other propellers, it is optimized and tested with the included 3411 (34x11 inch) folding propeller for maximum efficiency and thrust. Using a significantly different propeller may overload the motor or ESC, reduce performance, and potentially cause overheating. It is strongly recommended to use the matched propeller or consult Hobbywing's performance data for alternatives.

'CW' stands for Clockwise rotation. In a standard multirotor (quadcopter, hexacopter, etc.), you need a mix of CW and Counter-Clockwise (CCW) motors to counteract torque. You would pair this CW motor with a CCW motor on the opposite diagonal arm. Your flight controller software (e.g., ArduPilot, Betaflight) must be configured with the correct motor direction map and propeller installation (standard CW props on CW motors) for stable flight.

This high-torque, high-voltage motor requires a robust Electronic Speed Controller (ESC). You should use a high-quality ESC rated for at least 12S-14S voltage and with a continuous current rating significantly above the motor's expected draw under load. Hobbywing's own high-voltage ESC series or other industrial-grade ESCs with compatible firmware (like BLHeli_32 or AM32) are recommended.
