Description

The Grove Shield for Seeeduino XIAO transforms the miniature Seeeduino XIAO into a versatile development platform by integrating Seeed Studio’s plug-and-play Grove system. This shield facilitates rapid prototyping and eliminates the need for complex wiring, making it accessible for both beginners and experienced developers. Equipped with a dedicated battery management chip and a bonding pad for lithium batteries, it enables powering the XIAO directly from a battery while also managing its charging cycle, critical for portable and IoT applications.

With eight on-board Grove connectors, including two IIC ports and one UART port, the shield offers ample connectivity for a wide array of sensors, actuators, and communication modules. All 14 GPIOs from the Seeeduino XIAO are conveniently broken out, ensuring full utilization of the microcontroller’s capabilities. Additionally, a reserved SPI-Flash bonding pad provides an option to expand the XIAO’s memory, enhancing its potential for data-intensive or feature-rich projects.
