eSUN PLA-Silk Jacinth Refill Filament 1.75mm

eSUN PLA-Silk is modified to provide a distinctive, lustrous silk-like finish and enhanced mechanical toughness compared to standard PLA. It maintains similar ease of printing but offers superior aesthetic appeal and increased part durability, making it ideal for decorative and semi-functional applications requiring a premium look.

For optimal results, an extruder temperature between 190-230℃ is recommended, with a printing speed of 40-100 mm/s. A heated bed is not strictly necessary but can improve adhesion; if used, set it to 45-60℃. Ensure proper cooling for best surface finish.

While eSUN PLA-Silk offers enhanced toughness, it is primarily recommended for decorative and light-duty functional parts due to its aesthetic qualities. For highly demanding mechanical applications requiring extreme strength or heat resistance, other engineering filaments like ABS, PETG, or PC might be more suitable choices.

To maintain filament quality and prevent moisture absorption, store your eSUN PLA-Silk refill in a cool, dry place, preferably in a sealed bag with desiccant. Properly stored filament will ensure consistent print quality and prevent issues like stringing or poor layer adhesion, especially in humid environments.
