SUNLU PVB (Polyvinyl Butyral) filament is specifically formulated for additive manufacturing applications where a superior surface finish is paramount. Unlike traditional filaments that require extensive sanding, PVB parts can be easily smoothed using isopropyl alcohol (IPA 99%). This process gently dissolves the outer layer, eliminating visible layer lines and producing a glossy, high-quality finish that resembles injection-molded components.
