Pro-Range PLA Filament 1.75mm 1kg - Silver

For optimal results with Pro-Range PLA, we recommend a printing temperature between 190°C and 220°C. Start with 200°C and adjust in 5°C increments based on your printer's performance, nozzle type, and the complexity of your model to achieve the best layer adhesion and surface finish.

To maximize bed adhesion, ensure your print bed is clean and level. A bed temperature of 50-60°C is generally effective. Applying a thin layer of glue stick, hairspray, or using a PEI sheet can further enhance adhesion and prevent warping, particularly for larger prints.

While PLA is less hygroscopic than some other filaments, moisture absorption can still affect print quality. For best results, especially if the filament has been exposed to humidity for extended periods, dry it at 45-55°C for 4-6 hours before printing to prevent stringing, bubbling, and poor layer adhesion.

A printing speed of 50-100 mm/s is generally recommended for Pro-Range PLA. For intricate details or smaller features, slowing down to 30-40 mm/s can improve accuracy. Conversely, for larger, less detailed parts, speeds up to 100 mm/s can be used efficiently while maintaining good print quality.
