We recommend a printing temperature between 210-230°C. For speed, start with 40-80 mm/s. Adjusting these parameters within the suggested range allows for fine-tuning based on your specific printer setup and desired print quality, ensuring good layer adhesion and extrusion consistency.

TPU is prone to stringing due to its flexible nature. To mitigate this, optimize your retraction settings. Start with higher retraction distances (e.g., 5-7mm for Bowden, 1-2mm for direct drive) and increased retraction speeds. Ensure your filament is dry, as moisture exacerbates stringing issues.

For optimal bed adhesion, use a heated bed at 40-60°C. Applying a thin layer of PVA glue stick or blue painter's tape to the build plate can significantly improve adhesion and prevent warping. Ensure your first layer is properly calibrated with sufficient squish to bond well.

While not strictly mandatory like with ABS, an enclosure can greatly benefit TPU prints, especially for larger objects. It helps maintain a stable ambient temperature, reducing the risk of drafts, uneven cooling, and potential delamination, leading to more consistent and higher-quality results.
